A spiritual and educational event on "Youth against drugs" was held
According to the order of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, June 2022 has been designated as the "Month Against Drug Abuse". In this regard, on June 4, 2022 at Urgench State University a spiritual and educational event was held on "Youth against drugs."
The event was attended by M. Sherjanov, head of the Drug Enforcement Department of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Khorezm Regional Department of Internal Affairs, B. Khojakhanova, head of the AIDS Center of the Khorezm region, F. Atajonov, doctor of the Khorezm regional branch of The Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Narcology as well as students and tutors of the faculties of Pedagogy, Natural Sciences and Foreign Philology took part.
The event was opened by the First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual Educational Work S.Davletov. He spoke about the attention paid to the education of young people in our country, the care provided by our government. He stressed the ultimate goal is to ensure that our young people do not fall into the trap of bigotry and the need to prevent drug and drug addiction, which is the "plague of the century" and to protect the hearts of our children from various ideological threats.
