June 5 - World Environment Day
Yesterday, on June 5, 2022, on the occasion of June 5 - "World Environment Day" in Khorezm region under the motto "We are all responsible for the protection of Mother Nature!" an ecological action was held in collaboration with Khorezm Regional Council of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan, Khorezm Regional Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection, Khorezm Regional National Nature Park, Khorezm Regional Branch of the Ecological Movement of Uzbekistan, Urgench State University, the administration of Urgench School No. 30 and a deputy of the Khorezm Regional Council of People's Deputies.
First of all, we went from Urgench to Khorezm National Nature Park in Yangibazar district. There was a presentation of innovative youth projects, a drawing competition, a training seminar on tree care and maintenance.
The works of students and pupils of Urgench State University, who have initiated innovative projects in the field of ecology and are engaged in fine arts, were also considered.
Young people who took an active part in the campaign were awarded with gifts.
