Urgench State University hosted an event on"New Uzbek youth towards a life without violence."
On June 16, 2022, the national movement "Yuksalish" in cooperation with the Khorezm regional branch of the Republican Social Information Center "Istiqbolli Avlod" in the framework of the "Week of Active Citizens" organized an event on "Youth of New Uzbekistan to a life without violence".
The event was attended by the head of the Khorezm regional branch of the Republican Social Information Center "Istiqbolli Avlod" S.Matkarimova, chief specialist of the regional branch of the national movement "Yuksalish" B.Ismailov, Officer of the Regional Department of Internal Affairs E.Safayev, Officer of the Regional Department of Internal Affairs D.Bogibekova, K. Masharipov, the headmaster of the Islamic school "Imam Fahriddin ar-Raziy" under the Khorezm regional office of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, G. Atajanov, Chief Specialist of the Republican Center for Spirituality, and S. Davletov, under the leadership ofFirst Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual Educational Work of UrSU professors, tutors and students of the Faculty of Pedagogy took part.
The event was opened by the first vice-rector S.Davletov. After that, the reports of the participants were heard.
Issues such as showing the importance of the integration of education and upbringing in educating the younger generation, who are the successors of our future, as active participants in the creative process in our country, socio-economic reforms in the country and the claims made by religious fanatics on social networking platforms, to prevent the spread of religious fanaticism and bigotry among young people, protection of the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of young people, educating them in the spirit of respect for national and universal values, commitment to the idea of independence in their minds and hearts, advocacy for national identity were mentioned in the speeches.
