The awarding ceremony and concert program of the cultural and educational event "Descendants of Tomaris" was held
S. Davletov, the first vice-rector of UrSU, opened the event with an introductory speech, and emphasized the conditions created for young people at the university, especially the opportunities for female students. He noted that the cooperation with the neighborhoods is expanding more and more.
Congratulatory words of G. Kurbanboyeva, deputy governor of Khorezm region - head of the Department of Family and Women, were also heard at the event.
The artistic evening was attended by active women of the partner neighborhoods, talented young people, luminaries of the "Marifat" neighborhood, university professors and students.
An exhibition of national costumes was shown at the beginning of the event. The students presented 3 types of traditional national ethno-dresses representing the national values of Khorezm to the attention of the guests of the event.
The creative performances of talented students of the Faculty of Pedagogy, the performances of the orchestra and the ensemble of "People's Instruments" presented at the event shared a festive mood and were enjoyed by all.
In the awarding part of the artistic evening, the talented young people, progressive women of the neighborhoods and the activists of the "Kizlarjon club" of Urgench State University, as well as the leaders of the UzLiDEP and the "Ayollar qanoti" of the Khorezm Regional Council of the Democratic Party "Milliy tiklanish" were awarded with medals and souvenirs.
