Urgench State University — Striving for International Recognition!
Experts from Germany’s prestigious international accreditation agency ASIIN are currently visiting Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni to assess the university’s activities in accordance with international standards, conduct ranking evaluations, and study accreditation processes.
The purpose of the visit is to evaluate the quality of education based on international criteria, improve academic programs, and enhance the efficiency of scientific research and the teaching process.
Within this framework, the following academic programs are planned to undergo ASIIN international accreditation:
• 60540200 — Applied Mathematics
• 60540100 — Mathematics
• 70540101 — Mathematics (Master’s Program)
• 60530900 — Physics
• 70530901 — Physics (Master’s Program)
• 70540301 — Mathematical Engineering
Today, a meeting was held between the ASIIN experts and the university administration. During the meeting, Zafar Ibragimov, Vice-Rector for Scientific Research and Innovation, delivered a presentation highlighting the university’s scientific potential, international partnerships, quality of education, and modern infrastructure.
During the presentation, the experts were provided with detailed information about the university’s scientific research, innovative projects, international programs, as well as its laboratory and educational facilities.
This meeting plays an important role in helping ASIIN experts thoroughly study the university’s activities and effectively organize the accreditation process in accordance with international evaluation standards.
