The 5th Meeting of the Council of Urgench State University Was Held
Today, on December 29, the 5th meeting of the Academic Council of Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Biruni was held. The meeting was chaired by the Acting Rector of the University, S.Khodjaniyazov, with the participation of Council members.
At the beginning of the meeting, diplomas confirming academic degrees and titles were ceremoniously awarded to faculty members who made a significant contribution to enhancing the university’s scientific potential.
At the 5th meeting of the Council, the Acting Rector of Urgench State University, S. Khodjaniyazov, presented information on the work carried out at the university during 2025 and the results achieved.
In addition, priority tasks and strategic plans for 2026 were thoroughly discussed, and specific directions were identified to further improve the quality of education, develop scientific activities, expand international cooperation, and elevate spiritual and educational work to a new level.
During the Council meeting, a group of faculty members who, throughout 2025, effectively contributed to improving the educational process, enhancing spiritual and educational activities, expanding international cooperation, developing scientific work, and actively participating in public affairs, were duly recognized.
They were awarded Certificates of Honor from the university administration and commemorative gifts from the Trade Union Committee, with their dedicated work and initiative receiving well-deserved recognition.
