The conference held within the framework of the international project “Accelerating English Language Learning in Central Asia” has concluded

On February 12 of the current year, a two-day international conference organized within the framework of the project “Accelerating English Language Learning in Central Asia” concluded at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Biruni, initiated by the Department of English Language and Literature.

Throughout the day, participants discussed modern and effective methods of teaching English, strengthening cooperation between universities and general secondary schools, promoting language learning through student clubs, issues of inclusive education, and the introduction of outcome-based assessment systems. Various training sessions were also organized, along with engaging presentations and experience-sharing on highly effective pedagogical practices.

At the end of the two-day conference, certificates were awarded to the participants. This international project is significant as it contributes to improving the quality of English language teaching in Central Asia and promotes the wider implementation of innovative approaches in the education system.
