At Urgench State University — Integration of Education and Production

At Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni, the educational process is being organized based on a modern dual education system. Now students gain not only theoretical knowledge but also practical experience within a real production environment.

Starting from the 2025/2026 academic year, the branch of the “Light Industry Technologies and Equipment” Department began operating on the premises of one of Uzbekistan’s leading textile and light industry enterprises — “Urganch Bahmal” LLC.

At this new stage, students attend theoretical classes at the university and practical training sessions at the enterprise, ensuring a close connection between study and work processes.

Within the framework of the dual education program:
— bilateral and trilateral agreements have been signed;
— modern curricula have been developed;
— a production-based training system has been implemented.

As a result of this initiative, young people gain real-world professional experience and graduate as specialists fully prepared for the labor market.
