On November 2, Acting Rector of Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni, S.Khodjaniyazov, took part in the Second Uzbekistan–China Education Forum held in Tashkent.
During the forum, S.Khodjaniyazov delivered a presentation on “Cooperation in Education between China and Uzbekistan within the Framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, and the Development of Educational Integration between China and Central Asia.”
In addition, within the framework of the forum, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Urgench State University and Chang’an University — one of China’s Top 1000 universities.
This memorandum is aimed at further strengthening cooperation between the two institutions in education, scientific research, and the exchange of professors and students.
