The prestigious QS Quacquarelli Symonds agency has published the QS Asia University Rankings 2026, which includes 22 higher education institutions from Uzbekistan: https://www.topuniversities.com/asia-university-rankings?countries=uz
Among these universities, Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni took 9th place and achieved a rating score of 632: https://gov.uz/oz/edu/news/view/99595
This result is a clear indicator of the success of the reforms aimed at modernizing the higher education system, enhancing scientific potential, and expanding international cooperation in our country.
For reference: the ranking evaluated over 1,500 universities from 25 countries and regions of Asia, with 557 institutions appearing on the list for the first time.
The evaluation was based on criteria such as academic reputation, international recognition, graduate employability, quality of education, and international collaboration.
