A Seminar Held at Urgench State University to Study the Living Conditions of Students Renting Accommodation

At Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni, a seminar dedicated to examining the living conditions of students residing in rented housing was organized in cooperation with the Regional Department of Emergency Situations. The event was attended by rectors, vice-rectors, and responsible tutors from all higher education institutions in the region.

During the seminar, 20 working groups were formed, consisting of representatives from the emergency situations and tax departments, regional gas and electricity supply organizations, as well as university tutors.

These working groups thoroughly inspected the heating systems, chimneys, and sanitary-hygienic conditions of the homes where students reside. Identified deficiencies were promptly addressed on site, and students living in houses deemed unsafe were relocated to safer places.
