A meeting titled “Senators and Youth” was held at Urgench State University
On December 9, a meeting between representatives of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis and students was held at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni. The Chairman of the Committee on Science, Education and Healthcare of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Bakhrom Abdullayev, as well as the Deputy Chairwoman of the Senate Committee on Agrarian, Water Management and Environmental Issues, Sayyora Abdikarimova participated in the event. They engaged in direct dialogue with the youth, listening to their initiatives and opinions.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the activities carried out within the framework of “2025 — The Year of Environmental Protection and Green Economy,” the priority directions of youth policy, reforms aimed at ensuring youth employment, initiatives to enhance environmental awareness, as well as efforts to improve education quality, encourage scientific research, and support the intellectual potential of young people.
This meeting served as an important platform for increasing youth engagement, supporting their initiatives, and learning about their future plans and aspirations.
