International Scientific and Practical Conference within the II Forum of Turkic World Culture in Khiva
On April 26–27, 2025, in the city of Khiva, an International Scientific and Practical Conference on the topic “Bakhshi Art in the New Uzbekistan: Contemporary Research and Prospects” was held within the framework of the II Forum of Turkic World Culture.
During the conference, professors of the Department of Arts at Urgench State University, Associate Professors Botir Rakhimov and Doniyorbek Obidov, presented their reports. In addition, the department’s mentor, Ochilbek Matchonov, performed examples of bakhshi singing.
