On January 16 of the current year, a STEM seminar-training entitled “Educational Robotics Training – Exploring Edison Mini Robots” was held at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni.
The practical training was actively attended by professors and master’s students of the university’s Faculties of Computer Engineering and Telecommunication Technologies, as well as computer science teachers from Ranch Technology University and STEM teachers from general secondary schools of the Khorezm region.
During the seminar, participants applied design thinking principles in practice using Edison Mini robots, tested activities aimed at effectively organizing robotics and STEM lessons, increasing student engagement, and developing creativity, engineering thinking, as well as STEM skills and competencies.
Throughout the sessions, master’s students and faculty members exchanged experiences in teamwork and creative problem-solving through the creation and programming of robot prototypes.
At the conclusion of the event, presentations of innovative robotics projects aimed at improving school safety and enhancing the educational environment were conducted. This collaboration between Urgench State University and Ranch Technology University plays an important role in advancing STEM education and training highly qualified specialists for the digital future.
