THE NATIONAL HOLIDAY OF THE RUSSIAN PEOPLE – “MASLENITSA” IS BEING WIDELY CELEBRATED
Maslenitsa is a national holiday of the Russian people, celebrated for a week as a symbolic meeting of winter and spring. Maslenitsa is also the preparatory week before Great Lent.
Currently, on the occasion of this holiday, students of the Russian Language program at the Faculty of Philology and Arts of Urgench State University have organized a festive exhibition.
From early morning, a high-level exhibition has been arranged in the foyer of the university’s main building, vividly showcasing the rich national culture of the Russian people, their unique traditions, customs, and national dishes.
The festive exhibition, which has brought a joyful atmosphere to everyone, is attracting the attention of the university’s professors, teachers, and many students.
