Interviews held for technical college graduates
In accordance with the Regulation “On the procedure for admission of graduates who have successfully completed technical colleges to bachelor’s degree programs of higher education institutions on the basis of an interview”, approved by Resolution No. 17 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 11, 2022, today at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Biruni, interviews were held for the admission of graduates who have successfully completed technical colleges for the 2026/2027 academic year.
As part of this year’s admission process, 382 technical college graduates applied for 13 academic programs offered by the university.
Prior to the interviews, the university Admissions committee held an organizational meeting with the applicants. During the meeting, relevant explanations were provided regarding the admission procedure, the criteria for conducting and assessing the interviews, the rights and responsibilities of applicants, as well as the requirements to be observed throughout the process.
The interviews were organized for the designated academic programs with the participation of commissions consisting of specialists in the relevant fields. During the process, the applicants’ knowledge and skills in their chosen field of study, professional preparedness, as well as their understanding and awareness of the relevant field were assessed according to the established criteria.
The interview process was organized in accordance with the established procedures and requirements, based on the principles of openness and transparency.
