The university stage of the "Minister of Tourism and Sports Cup" sports competition was held
The university stage of the “Minister of Tourism and Sports Cup” competition, which is aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle among university students and involving them in mass sports, was held today, on June 15, 2021 among the students of Urgench state uiniversity.
In the first half of the day, the opening ceremony of the competition was held, which was attended by professors and teachers of the Faculty of Physical Culture, members of the University Sports Club, and participants of the competition. Opening the competition, S. Davletov, Vice-Rector for Youth and Spiritual - Educational Affairs of UrSU, wished success to all participants.
The competition was held during the day in badminton, chess, arm wrestling, and football. The students used all their strengths and skills to win on it.
In the second half of the day, the winners were announced and an award ceremony was held. In it, the Vice-Rector on Youth and Spiritual - Educational affairs S.Davletov, dean of the Faculty of Physical Culture S.Kukhalov, Department of Sports activities F.Masharipov and the chairman of the Sports Club M.Rahimov announced the winners and handed them diplomas and memorable gifts.
