Scientific theoretical seminar
A Scientific-Theoretical Seminar at the Department of "Interfaculty Foreign Languages" of Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Beruni
On December 16, 2025, a regular scientific-theoretical seminar was held in room 321 of the TATU building at the Department of "Interfaculty Foreign Languages" under the Faculty of Foreign Philology of Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Beruni.
Professors, teachers, and students of the Department of "Interfaculty Foreign Languages" participated in the scientific-theoretical seminar.
During the seminar, a presentation by teacher Adambayeva Feruza on the topic "Specific Features of Eponyms in Biotechnology" was delivered.
In the course of the presentation, the sources of formation of eponymic terms used in the field of biotechnology, their nominative characteristics, and their role in scientific discourse were comprehensively highlighted.
Afterwards, professors and teachers of the department expressed their opinions and comments on the topic, and a question-and-answer session was held.
At the end of the seminar, it was emphasized that the regular organization of scientific-theoretical seminars in the department plays an important role in enhancing the scientific potential of young specialists.
