Friendly competitions were held between Urgench State University and the Nukus branch of the Uzbekistan State University of Physical Culture and Sports
Today, December 12, a major event aimed at strengthening friendship and unity among young people through sports was held at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Beruniy within the framework of the “Month of Interethnic Harmony”. Friendly competitions on the theme “Sport is an Ambassador of Friendship”, organized in collaboration with the Nukus branch of the Uzbek State University of Physical Education and Sports, were held in Mini-football, Badminton, Table Tennis and Chess.
First, the student athletes of the UzDJTSU Nukus branch were solemnly welcomed. After that, the opening ceremony of the competitions was held. The first vice-rector of UrGU D. Ibadullayev, deputy chairman of the Sports Club M. Rahimov and the first vice-rector of the Nukus branch of the UzDJTSU G. Khojametov spoke at the event and wished the participants of the competition success and high results.
