The heritage of Ogahiy is a source of national spirituality and scientific thought.

Today, at the initiative of the Faculty of Philology and Arts of Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Beruni, a scientific and practical conference was organized on the topic of "Current issues of studying the work of Ogahiy" on the occasion of the 216th anniversary of the birth of the great representative of Uzbek literature and historiography of the 19th century, poet and translator Muhammad Riza Erniyozbek oglu Ogahiy. This conference was dedicated to an in-depth study of the invaluable literary and scientific heritage of the great poet, historian and thinker Ogahiy, and to an analysis of the ideological, artistic, linguistic and cultural aspects embodied in his works.
