An artistic and educational evening was organized to mark the 90th anniversary of the birth of poet and writer Erkin Samandar

An artistic and educational evening was held at the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the birth of Erkin Samandar, a distinguished journalist, poet and writer, holder of the Order of "Friendship". 
The creative evening was attended by members of the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan, literary critics and linguists, as well as the head of the Department of Uzbek Language and Literature of the Faculty of Philology and Arts of Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Beruni, Ph.D. B. Rahimova, associate professor of the department, PhD V. Atakhanova, associate professor of the Department of Uzbek Linguistics, PhD Sh. Alimova. 
It included lectures on the life path, work activities, great contribution to the development of the field, and human qualities of the poet and writer.
