Navruz Celebration at Urgench State University Held at a High Level

At Urgench State University, under the motto “Glorifying Navruz is Glorifying Humanity!”, the Navruz festival was organized at a high level, in an atmosphere of uplifting mood and harmony with national traditions.

The event was attended by guests from the United States, Russia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan, as well as prominent local figures, representatives of the arts, media professionals, and the university’s professors and students.

During the celebration, the university’s rector, Feruza Madrakhimova, together with the guests, visited the faculty pavilions. Each pavilion showcased, in a lively manner, national customs and traditions of different regions, artistic performances, and traditional dishes, adding unique color and charm to the event.

The festival was also honored by the presence of renowned artists — actor and director Bahodir Mirmaqsudov, talented actress Tamara Khazratqulova, and the People’s Artists of Uzbekistan, the Eshchanov brothers, who warmly congratulated the participants.

The Navruz festival played a significant role in glorifying national values, showcasing the creative talents of youth, and widely promoting the rich cultural heritage of our country.
