Rector at the faculties: prioritizing education quality and scientific capacity
The Rector of Urgench State University, Feruza Madrakhimova, reviewed the activities of the faculties. In particular, she visited the Faculties of Philology and Arts as well as Foreign Philology, where she closely examined the current state of the educational process. During the visit, the material and technical base of the classrooms was inspected.
She also held direct meetings with the faculty members of the departments. Special attention was given to enhancing the scientific capacity of the departments, and the rector expressed her readiness to continuously support the teaching staff in this regard. She also observed classes and spoke with students, listening to their opinions, suggestions, and initiatives, and expressed her support.
The rector particularly acknowledged the “Faculty History Museum” established at the Faculty of Philology and Arts, emphasizing the importance of expanding this experience to other faculties.
In addition, the rector visited the Faculty of Sports Activities, Pedagogy and Psychology. The sports halls, classrooms, and material and technical facilities of the faculty were thoroughly inspected. The rector noted her readiness to support the development of the scientific capacity of the teaching staff alongside their activities in the field of sports. She also interacted with students participating in sports activities. Furthermore, responsible staff were instructed to promptly address areas in need of repair. Special emphasis was placed on ensuring high-quality organization of sports activities and creating comfortable conditions for students.
