A press conference dedicated to the admission campaign was held at Urgench State University

Today, a press conference dedicated to the 2026/2027 academic year admission campaign was held at Abu Rayhan Beruni Urgench State University. During the event, the University Rector, Feruza Madrahimova, and the Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee, O‘tkir Matyoqubov, provided media representatives with detailed information about the university’s current potential, achievements, and admission plans for the upcoming academic year. More than 40 representatives of mass media outlets, television professionals, journalists, and bloggers participated in the press conference.

At the beginning of the event, a familiarization tour of the university was organized for media representatives. Guests explored the university’s modern educational and scientific infrastructure, student facilities, and its scientific and innovation potential. An exhibition featuring scientific developments, innovative projects, and creative works in painting and ceramics created by the university’s researchers, doctoral candidates, and master’s students was also presented.

During the event, in celebration of June 27 — Press and Mass Media Workers’ Day, a number of media representatives, journalists, and bloggers who have actively cooperated with the university were awarded Certificates of Appreciation and commemorative gifts by Rector Feruza Madrahimova.

The press conference served to ensure the openness and transparency of the admission process and to provide the public with reliable and timely information.
