A ceremonial graduation ceremony "Graduation-2026" was held at Urgench State University
Urgench State University hosted the “Graduate–2026” solemn ceremony dedicated to the graduates of the 2025–2026 academic year. The event was organized at a high level and was attended by the university administration, professors and teachers, honorary mentors, parents, and graduating students.
At the ceremony, the rector of the university Feruza Madrahimova, delivered a congratulatory speech. She sincerely congratulated the graduates on an important milestone in their lives — the successful completion of higher education — and wished them great success in their future endeavors.
As noted, in the current academic year, a total of 6391 students successfully graduated from the university. Of them, 6000 were bachelor’s degree graduates and 391 were master’s degree graduates, while 84 bachelor’s graduates completed their studies with honors.
During the ceremony, the sincere remarks expressed by parents and graduates added special warmth and grace to the event.
As part of the graduation ceremony, the rector of the university presented letters of appreciation to the parents of a group of graduates for their selfless efforts in raising and educating their children and supporting them in becoming well-rounded and knowledgeable individuals.
As emphasized, behind the achievements of today’s graduates stand, above all, the love, patience, and support of their parents.
In addition, diplomas with honors were awarded to graduates who completed their studies with excellent results. In the current academic year, 84 bachelor’s graduates of the university completed their studies with honors. The achievements of the honors graduates were specially recognized as the result of the dedicated efforts of teachers and parents.
At the end of the solemn ceremony, a festive concert program was presented with the participation of well-known young artists of the region. Beautiful melodies and songs, lively performances, and bright stage presentations left unforgettable impressions on the graduates, their parents, and guests.
