First deputy prosecutor General reviews practical implementation of safe territory concept at Urgench State University
Today, first deputy prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan Baxriddin Valiyev visited Urgench State University. During his visit, he reviewed a presentation on the work being carried out at the university within the framework of the “Safe territory – safe environment” concept.
During the presentation, rector of the university Feruza Madrahimova and the university’s prevention inspectors provided detailed information on the systematic measures being implemented to ensure public safety, prevent offences, and effectively organize preventive work at the university.
The university has effectively established the operation of video surveillance systems, Face ID cameras, turnstiles, and access-control checkpoints. Preventive work is also being systematically carried out with students residing in dormitories and rented accommodation. In addition, effective cooperation has been established among the “Qalqon” public group, tutors, prevention inspectors, psychologists, and educational staff.
