The 5th Open International Internet Olympiad on Physics
The 5th Open International Internet Olympiad on Physics
On December 4, 2025, the 5th Open International Internet Olympiad on Physics was held at the Seyitnazar Seydi Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute in celebration of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence.
This prestigious international event aimed to strengthen friendly cooperation between students and faculty members of higher education institutions, expand mutually beneficial scientific and informational exchange, and analyze pressing scientific issues in the field of physics.
The Olympiad was conducted in Turkmen, English, and Russian, with more than 220 participants from higher education institutions of Turkmenistan, the United States, Belarus, Azerbaijan, China, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Russia, and Tajikistan.
Under the supervision of senior lecturers of the Department of Physics of Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Beruni - K. Ruzimov and A. Rahmanov - a team of five students from the “Physics Innovator” club actively participated in this international Olympiad. The participation provided an important opportunity to assess students’ theoretical knowledge and practical skills, as well as to exchange experience in an international academic environment.
According to the results of the Olympiad, students of Urgench State University achieved commendable outcomes. In particular, Rustamova Adiba and Sharipov Qobilbek were awarded third-degree diplomas in physics. Additionally, Maqsadov Diyorbek, Hasanov Jamshid, and Jiyanmuratov Shikhnazar received certificates of appreciation for their active participation and high level of performance.
