A media tour was held at the Ulli Hovli complex

Today, on April 20, Urgench State University organized a media tour to the Ulli Hovli complex.

The Media Tour was attended by professors and tutors of the Natural Sciences Faculty, as well as students of Biology, Geography, Chemistry and the media representatives.

Visitors to the media tour were greeted by an employee of the Uzbek-Turkmen Friendship Society and began a tour of the historical monument. During the trip, they shared interesting information about the history of the monument and its construction.

The Ulli Hovli complex is one of the historical monuments built to further strengthen the neighborly relations between the two countries. Built in the 17th century, the complex preserves ancient courtyards, relics of Turkmen culture, and a fortress surrounding them. At the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, repair and beautification works have been carried out here. A hotel for 20 people has been built. Turkmen yurt has been planted. All conditions have been created for tourism and pilgrimage tourism.

Today, the walled fortress is always open to anyone who wants to look back and explore the cultures of the two peoples. Almost every day there are songs, dances and concerts of Uzbek and Turkmen culture.

In the castle, you can ride camels and horses, walk around craft workshops and galleries, and dine on Uzbek yurt.

Undoubtedly, this monument made a great impression on the students!
