The "Triumph of Poetry" contest was dedicated to the works of Muhammad Yusuf, People's Poet of Uzbekistan, winner of the "Do'stlik" Order


On April 26, 2022, the next round of the "Triumph of Poetry" contest among students of Urgench State University was held. Poetry enthusiasts and active students of the Faculty of Philology competed in the field of poetry.

The event was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Philology, Ph.D. D.Q. Gayipov.

The artistic part of the event was organized by the students of Group 191, poems belong to the pen of Muhammad Yusuf, a man of unique talent that combine the concepts of man and life, the motherland, scenes and songs depicting the poet's life took a deep place in the hearts of the audience.

Five participants of the Faculty of Philology took an active part in the contest in all tasks and were judged by jury members. According to the results of the contest:

1st place: Sabirova Mohina

2nd place: Rustamova Durdona

3rd place: Jumaboyeva Shahlo

At the end of the event, the winners and active students were awarded certificates of honor and gifts by the Dean of the Faculty D.K. Gayipov, head of the department "Uzbek language and literature", docent S. Matkarimova, a group of professors and teachers of the faculty.

At the event, the jury members noted that this traditional contest plays an important role in identifying and supporting students who are creative and work hardly.
