An award ceremony for the Memory Tournament in Mathematics was held for high school students

On May 5, 2022, Urgench State University hosted a Memory Tournament in Mathematics among secondary school students. The tournament was dedicated to the memory of Ismail Abdullayev, a mathematician, candidate of physical and mathematical sciences, docent, who had been working at UrSU for many years.

It was attended by talented students from all schools of the region, who have a great interest in mathematics, and in the first half of the day solved the problems of the Olympiad. In the afternoon, the award ceremony was held at the University Palace of Culture.

Rector of UrSU Bahrom Abdullayev spoke at the event and expressed his gratitude, sincere wishes to all participants of the tournament. He spoke about the achievements in the field of mathematics at Urgench State University and the conditions created. He urged the students to study hard and become students of this university. He wished the students success in their future endeavors.

After that, the winners of the Olympiad were announced. It should be noted that the results of the Olympiad were evaluated at the levels of A (grades 5-6), B (grades 7-8) and C (grades 9-10).

By level A (grades 5-6):

By grade B (grades 7-8):

I place - Nazarbayev Otanazar - school No. 41 of Gurlan district

II place - Davletboyev Azizbek - 41st school of Gurlan district

III place - Umarjonov Shohruh - Hazarasp district SBS 1(Specialized Boarding School)

By level C (grades 9-10):

I place - Ismoilov Asadbek - Bagat district AFCHOIMI 3

II place - Ismoilov Umrbek - Hazarasp district SBS 1

III place - Abdullayev Saʼdulla - Hazarasp district SBS 1

All winners received Diplomas and gifts from the Rector of the University, as well as letters of appreciation to the teachers of the participants of the Olympiad.

A group of students who actively participated were also awarded Certificates of Merit and a set of books.

It should be noted that the Women's Advisory Board of UrSU also introduced the nomination "Teacher's Recognition" for girls who received the highest rating points in awarding Olympiad. In it, 3 active girls were awarded with Certificates of Honor and gifts of the Women's Council.
