Urgench State University hosted a contest "The Best Reader Student"
The next round of the "The Best Reader Student" contest, which is traditionally held at the Faculty of Philology, was held on May 20 at the University Palace of Culture.
The contest was held on the basis of Abdulla Kadyri's "Last Days" and N.V. Gogol's "Dead Souls" (in Russian).
It will be recalled that the main purpose of the contest is to increase students' love for books, to explain that books are best friends and mentors, to promote the culture of reading among young people.
The artistic part of the event was attended by students of group 193. A video promoting the culture of reading, scenes from the novel "Last Days" and beautiful dances and songs were presented to the audience.
In this contest, 8 students of the faculty competed on the basis of 2 tasks.
Each task was evaluated by jury members. According to the results:
1st place: Nasiba Matyakubova (in Uzbek)
1st place: Yulia Soy (in Russian)
2nd place: Komila Farhodova
3rd place: Maftuna Hayitbaeva
The winners and students who actively participated in the contets were awarded diplomas and gifts by faculty members.
