A delegation consisting of representatives of partner universities of Turkey toured Khiva
On October 9-11, 2024, 18 representatives of a number of prestigious partner higher education establishments of Urgench State University, such as Turkey's Necmettin Erbakan University, Selcuk University, and Marmara University, visited our country to participate in the "III International Symposium on the History and Geography of the Seljuks" in Samarkand. On October 13, members of the delegation toured the "Ichan Qala" museum-reserve of the ancient city of Khiva.
The guests were accompanied by the staff of the International Cooperation Department of the Urgench State University, professors and teachers of the "History" department, and volunteer translator students, who made a worthy contribution to the high level of the trip to Khiva, which served to familiarize them with the history of our homeland, especially Khorezm.
It should be said that such symposiums and conferences contribute not only to the development of science, but also to the further development of the international tourism potential of our country. Azim Khiva, which always welcomes foreign tourists, gave unforgettable and unique moments to our Turkish brothers.
