The University team was awarded a letter of thanks from the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan
On April 30, the Minister of Culture Ozodbek Nazarbekov met with the youth of Khorezm in Urgench. The meeting was attended by students and youth of the Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni, who are participating in the IV International Festival of Bakhshi Art, together with their teachers.
As part of the meeting, a group of volunteer translators from Urgench State University and their teachers, who assisted in interpreting for foreign guests during the IV International Festival of Bakhshi Art, held in Khiva on April 26-28 under the auspices of UNESCO and ISESCO, were awarded a letter of thanks from Minister Ozodbek Nazarbekov.
During the meeting, the youth addressed the Minister with questions of interest to them and expressed their proposals and initiatives. We believe that these processes will bring special pride and enthusiasm to our university students studying foreign languages.
