Khorezm Technopark: A Hub of Skills and Life Competencies for Students
As part of the nationwide "Urgent 90 Days" initiative, various events are being organized for students of the Faculty of Chemical Technologies at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni. These activities aim to help students spend their free time meaningfully, learn vocational skills, and develop practical experience.
In particular, students are gaining hands-on experience in the tailoring and bakery workshops operating under the Khorezm Technopark affiliated with the faculty. During this process, they are learning modern sewing techniques, the technology of using sewing machines, and the procedures involved in baking and preparing bakery products. This allows them to reinforce their theoretical knowledge through practical training.
Moreover, during the summer break, the faculty’s sports fields, clubs, and educational-practical laboratories remain open for the youth of nearby neighborhoods. Currently, young people in the area are actively and effectively using these opportunities.
