Congratulations on the 34th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan

Dear compatriots,
Respected Urgench State University community,
Dear students,

From the bottom of my heart, I congratulate you on the most cherished and significant holiday in the life of our nation — the 34th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan!

Independence is a great blessing that has given us freedom, a sense of national identity, the revival of our priceless values, and the opportunity to take a worthy place in the global community. Over the past 34 years, our people have achieved tremendous progress through hard work, dedication, and loyalty to the homeland. Today, our country's development has reached a new stage, with significant achievements in science, education, economy, and culture.

We are especially delighted that this year’s celebration is held under the noble motto “For the Homeland, for the Nation, for the People.” Our youth — the foundation of the Third Renaissance — are the builders of a New Uzbekistan based on democratic and people-oriented principles. This new era — the era of New Uzbekistan — requires us to educate knowledgeable, energetic, patriotic, and creative young people. The youth who are devoted to the prosperity of the nation must grow into healthy, independent-minded individuals with a broad worldview and great potential.

I wish the dedicated faculty and staff of Urgench State University strength, perseverance, and enthusiasm in fulfilling this honorable mission.
To our students, I wish academic success, determination, and constant motivation in achieving their goals.

May the 2025–2026 academic year be full of achievements and victories!

May our Independence be eternal, our homeland peaceful, and our skies forever clear!

With respect,
Sardor Khodjaniyazov
Acting Rector of Urgench State University
named after Abu Rayhon Biruni, Professor.
