The opening of the Professional Development Center under the auspices of the British Council and an international project was a seminar in English, announced "English as a Medium Instruction"


 

On February 10, 2020, the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers (TIIAME) presented the opening of the Professional Development Center under the auspices of the British Council and an international project was a seminar in English, announced "English as a Medium Instruction". Ursu EMI team members participated in this ceremony and Project participants have joined the Norwich Institute of Language Education, a forum called https://nile.elt.com/. Prior to the opening ceremony, on the agenda, guests spoke about the important event at the Institute, with the Director of the British Council Rachel Island, UK consultants Rod Bolayto and Jason Skit. Jamila Ermetova,Davron Abdullayev,Shirin Bobojona,Farida Abdullaeva and Eshchanova Gulbahor have learnt to improve the teaching materials based on international experience in the development of modern curricula, and consultations, webinars and seminars with UK project specialists.

Creation of a new Center for Professional Development and conducting a training seminar within the international project of the Institute for International Development made a great impression on everyone. This will help solve several learning problems. Experience and feedback from the project helped to identify further stages of the project.
