Scientific-Theoretical Seminar
On November 6, 2024, a regular scientific-theoretical seminar was held in Room 448 at the Department of Romance-Germanic Philology of the Faculty of Foreign Philology at Urgench State University.
The seminar was attended by professors, lecturers, and students of the department.
During the seminar, Senior Lecturer Zarofat Matyusupovna Rakhimova delivered a lecture on "The Naming Principles of Local Toponyms in Unrelated Languages."
The lecture provided information on Uzbek and German toponyms, with a special focus on toponyms in the Gurlan district.
After the lecture, professors and lecturers of the department shared their thoughts and opinions on the topic.
