New academic year begins with "Independence lessons"
Today, September 6, the new academic year 2021-2022 has started in our republic. In particular, the first day of the new academic year at Urgench State University began in a special, festive mood.
In connection with the new academic year, the first independence lesson was organized in the Culture Hall of the University with the participation of our students and first-year students. The rector of the University Bakhrom Abdullayev opened this event organized under the motto "Let's live freely and prosperously in the new Uzbekistan!" and sincerely congratulated all students on the 30th anniversary of our independence, and the new academic year, as well as the first-year students who successfully passed the exams.
By tradition, the governor of Khorezm region, the "Mehnat Shuhrati" Order holder Farhod Ermonov attended the event on the eve of the new academic year and began the first independence lesson. In his speech, the governor highlighted the rapid reforms in the field of education in the region on the basis of resolutions and decrees of the President. Based on his life experience, he gave his recommendations to our youth who have taken the first step on the threshold of independent life.
In recent years, the Urgench State University team has made great strides in the areas of educational effectiveness and research. The governor congratulated Islambek Ismailov, a student of the Physics and Mathematics Faculty, on winning a gold medal at the International Mathematical Olympiad and presented him with gifts.
Recognizing the opportunities provided by Independence, peace and prosperity in our country, the speakers wished the students success in their future studies.
