The next meeting of the Erasmus+ National Group in Uzbekistan was held at Urgench State University.


On December 20, 2021, a delegation of experts from the Erasmus + National Group in Uzbekistan visited Urgench State University.

Members of the delegation: Coordinator of the Erasmus + National Office in Uzbekistan A.Abdurahmanova, Professor of Tashkent University of Information Technologies M.Rahmatullayev, Representative of Yeoju Technical Institute in Tashkent J.Khudayberganov, Head of the Department of International Relations of Namangan State University P.Lutfullaev, Representative of Karshi State University N.Farmonov, Representative of the International Islamic Academy O. Astanakulov, Representative of Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnology G. Karimova, Representative of Karakalpak State University B.Pavlanov and an expert at the Erasmus + National Office in Uzbekistan K. Bahodirov.

The guests were warmly welcomed by the rector of UrSU B.Abdullayev and the vice-rector for international cooperation G.Urazbaev.

Then, on the first day of the two-day seminar, the seminars began with the participation of experts from the Erasmus + National Group, officials from universities in Khorezm region, as well as the administration of UrSU and the Department of International Relations. The event was opened by the rector of UrSU B.Abdullayev and the coordinator of the Erasmus + National Office in Uzbekistan A.Abdurahmanova.

At the event organized by members of the national group of experts on higher education system in order to help raise the international ranking of universities in the country, to provide information on training and innovative development of higher education, as well as to familiarize with the capabilities of the Erasmus + program, the guests made presentations.

The experts also provided detailed information on the activities of the Erasmus + program in support of intensive changes in the higher education system and the implementation of the tasks of the Concept of Higher Education Development until 2030, the potential of the national group of experts in higher education and the journal "Prospects for Higher Education" and, the results of 2021 and plans for 2022.
