Deputy Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education Rahimjon Hakimov visited Urgench State University
On April 16, Rahimjon Hakimov, Deputy Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education for Science and Innovation, visited Urgench State University.
During the visit, accompanied by the rector of UrSU B.Abdullayev, he observed the teaching process of the faculties of Foreign Philology, Physics and Mathematics, and Natural Sciences. He had a conversation with students and teachers. He was interested in language skills and computer technology, as well as having an IELTS certificate. He spoke to students in English and encouraged them to study other languages in addition to their English. He was interested in the future plans and goals of the youth. He encouraged them to constantly work on themselves and to study diligently.
“Two things are very important now to be a great professional: language skills and IT. Only then will you be a staff who can meet the demands of the times! ” - said R.Hakimov during a conversation with students.
He also got acquainted with the laboratory for masters and doctoral students at the Natural Sciences Faculty and was interested in the progress of research work there.
He instructed to increase the speed of the Internet on the campus, to allocate a separate room for youth interested in IT with high Internet speed, and to optimize the workload of subjects taught during the semester.
