Another training seminar was held for tutors
On April 16, 2022, a regular meeting of the permanent seminar for tutors was held at the Palace of Culture of UrSU.
The meeting was attended by the head of the State Tax Inspectorate of Urgench M. Masharipov and his deputy J. Otajonov, the first vice-rector of UrSU S. Davletov, adviser to the rector R. Sharipov, docent of Pedagogy and Psychology Department J. Iskandarov, Youth, Spirituality and Education Department, UrSU Women's Advisory Board, psychologists, deputy deans for youth affairs of all faculties and university tutors took part.
Traditionally, the seminar was opened by S. Davletov, First Vice-Rector for Youth Issues, Spiritual and Educational Affairs of UrSU, who spoke about the role of tutors in working with students, meaningful organization of their leisure time and employment.
At the training seminar, tutors were informed about the rules and procedures for concluding a lease agreement between students and landlords. Suggestions were made on the education and living conditions of youth, the need to constantly address their problems, to strengthen their participation in extramural activities, as well as the necessary scientific and psychological advice for more effective organization of tutoring activities, communication and work with students.
The results of monitoring the tutors' activities over the past two months were also discussed and relevant tasks were identified.
During the workshop, tutors exchanged views and experiences. They asked questions to the officials about the various situations they encountered during their work and received the necessary answers. We are confident that such seminars and trainings will create ample opportunities for professionals to improve their professional skills and abilities.
