Meeting of youth leaders and students
In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 19, 2013 "On measures to radically improve the system of work with youth in the mahallas", new positions have been created in the mahalla system - youth leaders.
Higher education institutions now operate directly through youth leaders in the mahallas to which they are responsible. It should be noted that Urgench State University is cooperating with the youth leaders of the mahallas which it is responsible.
Today, a meeting was held with students of the 211th Biology, 193rd Cartography and Geography groups of the Natural Sciences Faculty and youth leaders of "Ma'rifat", "Umid", "Jaloliddin Manguberdi", "Temir Yolchi" and "Toza Bag" mahallas. In it, youth leaders spoke about the initiatives they are currently taking to create more opportunities for young people in their mahallas. During the meeting, students received answers to questions about employment, education and military service subsidies, entrepreneurship.
