The winners of the "Initiative Budget Ambassadors" contest were awarded
On May 31, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan held an award ceremony for the winners of the contest "Initiative Budget Ambassadors" for students organized by the information portal "Open Budget".
At the beginning of the event, Deputy Minister of Finance Ahadbek Khaydarov said that young people, especially students, showed great interest in the project "Initiative Budget" and submitted many projects. 7.2 thousand proposals were submitted by students during the initiative budget process. ”
After that, the students, who took part in the "Initiative Budget" process with great interest, shared their impressions.
In particular, Sherbek Makhmasoatov, a student who took 13th place in the competition: The" Initiative Budget "project on the open budget website is helping to ensure that the funds allocated by the state for the problems reach the right places. He thanked the Head of State for all this, as well as the officials working on this project."
The event was attended not only by students, but also their parents, who expressed their views and suggestions about the contest.
At the meeting, the winners were presented with gifts, including 5 laptops, 10 tablets, 10 kindels, 10 smart watches and 20 headphones, and wished them continued active participation in the development of society.
They were awarded a letter of appreciation and gifts by the Ministry of Finance.
The ceremony was attended by the heads of the regional departments of finance, who thanked the ambassadors of the initiative budget.
