The Faculty of Chemical Technologies has a newly renovated building

Today, a group of guests, honorary teachers of the university, headed by the deputy governor of Khorezm region, S. Salayev, visited the educational buildings, student accommodation, technology park and library of Urganch State University, which were renovated and put into use.

The first destination of the visit was the educational building of the Faculty of Chemical Technologies. There, the rector of UrSU, B.Abdullayev, gave a presentation about the construction and repair work carried out at this faculty. Also, a scientific and innovative exhibition of faculty scientists was shown.

After that, the guests got to know the lecture halls and laboratory rooms of this new building. For example, at the faculty, the activities of Food Safety, Oil Products, Meat Products, and Cereal Products laboratories have been established, and 42 types of laboratory equipment have been purchased in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PD 2949, mainly at the expense of the funds of the World Development Bank received and commissioned. These laboratories are always crowded with young scientists.

For information, the new educational building of the Faculty of Chemical Technology, located on "Independence" street, Urganch district, is designed for 850 seats and was put into operation in November of this year. The building has conference halls, a gym, 10 laboratory rooms, 18 lecture halls and other necessary rooms.
