The Faculty of Engineering has a newly renovated educational and laboratory building
Today was a day full of holiday gifts for the team of Urganch State University. The team had the opportunity to simultaneously hold the official opening ceremony of two educational buildings, a technology park, a student residence and a modern library with great joy.
The last destination of our guests was the new educational building of the Technical Faculty. Before the visit, the guests got acquainted with the scientific and innovative exhibition of the faculty. Faculty scientists presented all the projects included in the exhibition. Information about their application in industry, effective aspects for the population and their role in the development of the industry attracted the attention of the guests.
Today, more than 2,000 students study in 10 fields of study at the Technical Faculty. More than 100 professors work in 4 departments. The faculty conducts scientific research in the fields of automotive engineering, materials science, energy, construction and architecture. The priority of this type of research is aimed at the development of scientific and technical progress in the region due to the use of modern laboratory equipment with reliable technical parameters.
During the visit, the guests saw the conditions created for students in classrooms, laboratories, activists' hall and sports halls. In particular, the activity of laboratories of agricultural machinery, automobile engineering, energy and construction spheres has been established at the faculty.
For information, this new building of the Technical Faculty, located on "Gurlan" street, Urganch city, was renovated at the expense of extra-budgetary funds of the university. The building has 1,600 seats and consists of a 3-story educational building, 1 educational-laboratory building, meeting hall and sports halls. The building has 33 classrooms and 20 laboratory rooms.
