Most of the fundamental reforms implemented in our country are aimed at developing the education sector and improving its quality. We are all witnesses that no matter what programs and plans are adopted in this regard, the interests of our youth, who are our future, are taken into account in all of them.
We all deeply understood that in yesterday's address of the head of our state, Sh. Mirziyoyev, to the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the people of Uzbekistan, the main focus was on the development of education and bringing it to a new level in terms of quality. First of all, this shows that there is a high demand for competitive personnel in the rapidly changing era. Of course, modern technology, material and technical base plays an important role in the development of the education sector.
Urganch State University has undergone major changes in recent years. An organic continuation of such creative works is a modern information resource center located on the territory of the Technical Faculty. Today, our guests visited this Information Resource Center and got to know the conditions there.
In place of information, this 250-seat library serves students of the Faculty of Technology and Philology. The general fund consists of 23,873 books. All facilities for students have been created in the information-resource center. There are 2 large study halls, computer rooms, literature storage funds. There are more than 9,000 fiction books for students to spend their free time meaningfully. The library is constantly crowded with students.
