Rector of Urganch State University met with professors and teachers of the Faculty of Pedagogy

From December 26 of this year, the Rector of Urganch State University B.Abdullayev has started meetings with professors and teachers of the university. The first meeting was held with the Pedagogical faculty team, accompanied by Z. Ibragimov, Vice-rector for Research and Innovation, and R. Sharipov, Rector's adviser.

At the meeting, the past year 2022 was summarized on the example of the faculty, and plans for the next year were determined. In particular, the scientific potential of the faculty, the number of defenses made in the previous year were analyzed, the textbooks, study guides, monographs and scientific articles published by the members of the department were discussed, and they were called to be active in increasing the scientific potential.

Also, in the Address of the President to the Oliy Majlis and the people of Uzbekistan, it was pointed out that great attention was paid to education, and it was recognized that this, in turn, imposes a great responsibility on the team of pedagogues. Tasks were given to improve the quality of education.

At the end of the meeting, the faculty team expressed their opinions.

For information: Currently, the Faculty of Pedagogy has 6 departments and a total of 157 professors and teachers are working in them. The scientific potential of the faculty is 19%. In the last two years, 3 Doctor of Science (DSc) and 15 Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees were defended.
