An artistic event was organized for Azerbaijani guests
Today an artistic event was presented by the Faculty of Philology and Art in the Palace of Culture of the university for the members of the delegation of the Republic of Azerbaijan who visited Urgench State University.
Rector of the university B.Abdullayev opened the event and spoke about the long-standing friendship between the two nations, the reforms implemented in the fields of education, culture and tourism in cooperation between the countries and their bright prospects. He expressed his satisfaction with the visit of the guests to the university.
Head of the delegation from Shusha, Republic of Azerbaijan, A. Kerimov also spoke at the event and thanked the university team for their hospitality. He expressed his satisfaction with the interest in the culture, literature and traditions of Azerbaijan at the university and expressed his desire to work in cooperation in the future.
At the event, the talented students of the faculty performed songs that are equally dear and beloved to the Uzbek and Azar peoples, and beautiful dances reflecting the nationalities of both nations were performed.
In particular, the beautiful samples of our national anthem, performed by the People's Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan O.Matchanov, pleased the guests and shared a good mood to everyone.
