March 3 is World Wildlife Day!
In accordance with paragraph 3 of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-171 dated May 31, 2023 “On measures to effectively organize the activities of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change”, March 3 is designated as “World Wildlife Day” in our country.
In this regard, today an exhibition was organized by the Department of Ecology and Life Safety, Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni. The first vice-rector of the university D.Ibadullayev, head of the Department of Ecology and Life Safety S.Babajonova, professors and tutors of the faculty participated in it and exchanged views on the science of ecology, the absolute value of wildlife, its genetic, social, economic, scientific, educational, cultural, recreational and aesthetic aspects, and the work being carried out in our country to preserve the purity of nature and pass it on to future generations in its entirety.
Sh.Khodjimuratov, deputy assistant to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, and B.Qalandarov, chief specialist of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan, also participated in the exhibition as guests. During the conversation, experts provided information about the dependence of wildlife on humans, the importance of its preservation, effective methods of nature protection, and gave recommendations aimed at forming environmental awareness.
This exhibition, held on the occasion of "World Wildlife Day", encourages everyone to not be indifferent to ecology, to preserve nature and leave a clean environment for future generations.
