The presentation ceremony of the books "Maqar" and "Boljon" was held

Today, the presentation ceremony of the books "Maqar" and "Boljon" by the bright representative of modern Uzbek literature, writer and translator Shukhrat Matkarimov was held at Urgench State University. The event was attended by university professors and teachers, students and youngsters, famous literary critics and guest artists, members of the Khorezm Regional Writers' Union and the Journalists' Union. The presentation ceremony was moderated by the Dean of the Faculty of Philology and Arts D.Gayipov.

At the presentation evening, a number of artists, including the Hero of Uzbekistan, literary scholar, translator Ibrohim Gafurov, Honored Journalist of Uzbekistan Ashurali Jo'rayev, and the head of the Khorezm regional branch of the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan Gavhar Ibadullayeva, expressed their opinions on these works by the writer and translator Shukhrat Matkarimov.

The complex human experiences, social conflicts and real-life realities depicted in the author's story "Maqar" were deeply analyzed. The work covers some of the current social problems of Uzbek society with an artistic approach, inviting the reader to deep observation.

In the collection of stories and short stories called "Boljon", the lives of ordinary people, their hopes and dreams, sorrows and joys are vividly and sincerely depicted through images. The works richly reflect the national spirit, sweet dialect and folk melodies of ancient Khorezm.

During the event, author Shukhrat Matkarimov spoke about the process of creating his works, the life circumstances that inspired him to write them, as well as the importance of modern literature for the younger generation.
